Today was adoption day! We drove to the office and every official met us there. That was easy. It was crowded because another adoption was taking place, too. Samuel is very sick, throwing up. The older kids couldn't come to the office with us because of Samuel, so there are no pictures of the official day! It was very hectic trying to sign papers with two toddlers. We don't know if Samuel has food poisoning or a bug. He hasn't been this sick in years. We are praying that the rest of the family doesn't get it. Teddy has some tummy problems from the change in diet, I think. We have to go buy diapers for Teddy. Imagine that! He also wets his pants, so I'm not sure if he was able to use the toilet much in the orphanage. He wasn't wearing a diaper and was wet when we got him. The director told me he rarely wears diapers at night. I know from our previous adoption that sometimes they have the wrong information!
Teddy is still very happy. He is starting to show a little stubborness, which is good, because that's normal for a toddler. He jokingly kicked Chris in the shins and hit Emma on the legs. All with a smile of course! He is starting to respond to instructions and speak a few words of English. It is very cute to hear him sing and count in Chinese.
Anna is still very much the Mommy. She is rarely jealous, yet! Emma and Samuel adore Teddy and are being a huge help. We miss home already, but are still enjoying our time in China.

Walking in Guiyang

Just before adoption paperwork. Teddy is finally ours!

First night sleeping with Baba (Dad).

Teddy didn't want to bathe until Anna showed him how to clean the tub.
He's a great eater! Loves ice cream, just like us!
The balloons are still a favorite. They are relaxing after playing so hard.
Here's another video... He is sooooo active and clever!
