Teddy is here!

Wow! What an amazing day! We were at the computer station which overlooks the lobby, when we saw a cute little boy come in with four adults. We knew it must be him! We watched from a distance for a whole half hour before our guide showed up to introduce us. Teddy is such a sociable little guy. He played in the corner with the other children while we went over paperwork. No tears when the director left. The nanny was not able to come.

He understood the Chinese words for each member of our family and took our hands when the director introduced us. He repeats after us when we use English. The kids taught him to "high five" in just a few minutes. He is now talking to us in Chinese and laughing! He has an adorable smile!

Legos are a huge hit. He saw them in a little bag in the hotel room and went straight for them. We have to pry them from his hands to get him to do anything else! We were amazed to see him eat chicken from KFC. He literally picked all the meat off the bones before handing it over!

The kids absolutely adore him! Even Anna. She is pretending to be the little Mommy. How soon will the fighting start? Let's hope not for a while. For now, they are the best of friends! And, as we thought, they look like twins. The energy level in my house just doubled!

Teddy is sick with a prolonged cold, like we thought he would be. His cheeks and nose are so red and raw. He has a raspy cough. Hopefully, it's nothing a little TLC won't take care of.

Okay, so enjoy the pictures and video!

Okay, I'm off to Toys-R-Us to buy Legos. He is so adorable and we love him already! We can't wait for you all to get home so we can meet him. I hope he gets over that cold soon -- poor little guy but it doesn't seem to be slowing him down any. We are praying for all of you.

Love, Grammy and Pa

P.S. I wish I were there with you -- I'd be beating you (Em and Sam) like a dirty rug in Uno -- which I will do when you get back! :)
